Mistakes We Make When Writing Review Articles

• Unimportant topic: ask several colleagues whether they might be interested in
• Stale rehash: Be sure that you are saying something new about the topic.
• A timely topic, but already covered
• Getting lost along the way: Make an outline with major headings, and stick to it.
• Article too long: this is one of the most common problems in medical writing.
• Too many or too few references: Avoid this mistake by studying similar articles published in your target journal.
